Lavender & Honey Lip Balm

• Pure Honey is incredibly effective at healing skin wounds, thanks to its natural antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, disinfectant, anti-fungal and antiviral properties, so much so that it's now used by some doctors in clinical environments. Honey is also a fantastic humectant, meaning it helps to retain moisture within the pores of the skin, creating a non-greasy, long lasting protective barrier. The Ancient Egyptians worshipped the Honeybee and used Honey in over 500 of their medicines!
• Sweet Almond oil has been used for centuries to soothe the skin and treat minor wounds and cuts and in ancient Chinese medicine to treat skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Almond oil can improve complexion and skin tone. It’s highly emollient, which means it helps to balance the absorption of moisture and water loss. Because it is antibacterial and full of vitamin A, almond oil can be used to treat acne. Its concentration of vitamin E can also help to heal sun damage, reduce the signs of ageing, and fade scars.
• Beeswax is also an excellent natural humectant, actually attracting moisture to the skin and retaining it. Beeswax also creates a subtle, non greasy protective layer on the skin preventing further irritation.
• Lavender Essential oil gives a dreamy scent that's both comforting and relaxing, in addition Lavender is both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory.
• Perfectly PH balanced. Skin’s ideal pH is 5.5. Our Lavender & Honey Balm is naturally balanced at PH 5-6 to ensure your skin remains at it’s optimum
